To give someone the authority or power to do something. Make them stronger and more confident, especially in controlling their life and claiming their rights. When you empower others, as a teacher, coach, mentor, or just a friend, you teach them patience, respect, and responsibility. It is important to lead by example, give them something to care for, instill gratitude, and allow them to make decisions and deal with the consequences without bailing them out. Teach them self-care and pride while allowing them to be self-sufficient.
